Technology Minerals is pleased to announce the completion of the first phase of drilling on its Knockeen Lithium Pegmatite Project in SE County Carlow, Ireland. This significant milestone was accomplished by Global Battery Metals, an experienced partner in the industry.
Overview of the Project
The Knockeen Lithium Pegmatite Project focuses on a Lithium-Caesium-Tantalum (LCT) pegmatite dike swarm. The initial stage comprised the drilling of nine holes, totaling 2,022m, which were successfully completed by Global Battery Metals in late October. Notably, all nine holes intersected lithium-bearing LCT Pegmatites.
Quality Analysis
To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the findings, samples were carefully collected and submitted to ALS Laboratories in County Galway. These samples underwent thorough examination using the specialized ME-MS89L Lithium Pegmatite analytical suite. The analytical results are now available for review.
Ongoing Partnership
The Knockeen Lithium Pegmatite Project is progressing smoothly under the ongoing and successful option agreement between GBML and Technology Minerals. Global Battery Metals is actively operating the project, staying committed to its successful execution.
Meeting Global Demand
With the ever-increasing global demand for battery metals, particularly for the electrification of various applications, Technology Minerals recognizes the importance of exploring and recycling metals from spent batteries. By responsibly sourcing and utilizing these valuable resources, Technology Minerals aims to contribute to the sustainable development of battery metal supply chains.
