WiseTech Global, the leading logistics software provider, has announced a remarkable 30% increase in annual profit, demonstrating its continued growth in the market. The company, listed on the ASX, reported an underlying net profit of A$247.6 million for the twelve months ending June, compared to A$189.8 million in the previous year. Furthermore, revenue rose by an impressive 29% to reach A$816.8 million.
The board of WiseTech Global has declared a final dividend of 8.4 Australian cents per share, a significant increase from the 6.4 cents per share distributed last year.
When including one-off items, the company’s statutory profit rose by 9% to A$212.2 million. Additionally, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) showed strong growth, increasing by 21% to A$385.7 million. Once acquisition costs were stripped out, EBITDA climbed even higher to A$412.1 million, marking a notable 28% increase.
WiseTech Global recently acquired Blume Global, an intermodal rail-solutions provider, and Envase Technologies, a transport-management software provider, for a total of US$644 million. These acquisitions are expected to further enhance the company’s offerings and strengthen its market position.
The company’s performance exceeded the average analyst forecast of an underlying net profit of A$244.8 million and revenue of A$807.3 million, as reported by FactSet.
Looking ahead to the future, WiseTech Global remains optimistic and has projected revenue growth of 27% to 34% in the fiscal year 2024. EBITDA growth is also expected to be strong, ranging from 18% to 27%.
