The Sun version of the robot is a fully automated trading solution for the MetaTrader 4 platform. The strategy of the EA is based on “the algorithm, is based on determining support and resistance levels, as well as identifying the behavior and direction of the Market’s movement, in order to assess the strength of the movement impulse and the probability of its continuation.” The average trade length is 3 hours, a total of 38-33 points. The robot fits well with those traders and investors who treat risk seriously. EA works with EUR/USD and USD/JPY currency pairs and doesn’t use martingale, averaging, hedging strategies.

The Moon version uses the martingale principle with some improvements and features. The algorithm has been written in MQL4 and should fit the MetaTrader 4 platform. The robot uses indicators like Bollinger Band, Commodity Channel Index, etc., and candlestick patterns to open trades. This EA runs filters “of the number of open transactions, maximum drawdown, control of currency pairs and news background,” devs said. This robot trades every day. The main signals for the day come at night during the Asian session. It works with AUD/CAD, GBP/AUD, AUD/NZD, NZD/CAD, EUR/CHF, EUR/GBP, EUR/SGD, GBP/CAD.

Sun and Moon backtests

FXTraderKit robot strategy tester report

It’s the Sun one. The currency pair to test has been EUR/USD and time frame 1 hour. The account has been funded at $200. The total net profit became $6.5M. The drawdowns are maximal 16.68% and relative 43.46%. There have been performed 2881 trades with the 79-84% win-rate. The profit factor rose to 1.49.

It’s Moon’s backtest. We’ve got AUD/CAD currency pairs and traded on the M15 timeframe. The deposit has been $500. The total net profit was $2933 with a profit factor equals to 2.08. The maximal drawdown was 9.14% and relative one 22.02%. The win-rates vary not so much. The short position one is 70.6%, long one 74.23%.

The real accounts results

Let’s take a look at the Sun’s results. The account has been funded at $898 and once withdrawn at $100. The robot works on the real USD account with IC Markets as a brokerage company, on the MetaTrader 4 platform. During the four years, the account balance rose to +246%. The monthly gain equals 2.65% with the very high drawdowns 27.8%. As we can see from the chart, there have been two periods of trading. During the first two years, the robot provided +204% of the gain. The next almost two years just only about +30%.

FXTraderKit robot advanced statistics

The trading data shows that there have been traded 2741 deals with 5512 pips. The longs win-rate is 71% and 76% on the shorts. It’s noticeable that the average win +$0.83  is in two+ times less than the average loss -1.94. It tells us that there’s something wrong with the SL and TP features. The average trade length is 7 hours. The profit factor is 1.22.

The robot traded completely unpredictably. So, everything the devs said about smooth and “save” trading has been a lie.

As you can see, 2019 and the start of 2020 look the same. The robot can easily waste one or even two months of profit.

FXTraderKit trades the next currency pairs EUR/USD, EUR/CHF, USD/CAD, and USD/JPY.

Moon’s account looks more interesting because of the amount of money that has been deposited and withdrawn: $288K/$266K. The highest amount of the account has been $54943 on January 20. The average monthly gain is 4.02% with high drawdowns 26.56%.

The EA trades 1772 deals with 8458 pips. How with Sun, the average win equals $29, but the loss -$49.  The average trade length for this account is 23 hours. The profit factor is higher comparing to Sun’s account and equals 1.96.

Trading results look wise better than Sun’s ones.

During the last 14 months, as well as, whole period there has been just one month with a little lost (-0.46%).

The offer

The robot trades try the Forex Store where Moon has 9.6/10 rate and Sun has 8.2/10. Both of the robot fit NFA requirements. For $270 will get one of the package with the robot. It’ll include a lifetime license, user manual, free updates, and 24/7 welcome support.

The seller provides the 30-day money-back guarantee.

FXTraderKit robot the offer

We’re offered by the special package that includes both the robots with -$135 OFF.

The Summary

Pros

  • Backtests are provided
  • Well-explained strategy
  • The real USD accounts
  • Mid-price EA
  • Forex Store verified

Cons

  • Mid-price EA
  • Sun EA provides neither safety nor profit.

We’d like to notice how different Sun and Moon packages work. As you could see, there’s something wrong with Sun EA and devs don’t care, but Moon works much better and provides average results with mid-level of drawdowns. The final decision is completely up to you.
