The vendor of Tip Toe is not bothered about properly introducing this system to the public. The closest they come to describing it is stating that the number one priority of the product is to protect the investor’s funds by regulating the drawdown. Read our Tip Toe Hippo review to find other disturbing things we found about the product.
Is Tip Toe Hippo a trustworthy system?
The system’s official website looks very unprofessional. We suspect it was created by amateurs who are ignorant about marketing. Their sales pitch is far from persuading people to invest with them. Who would want to invest in a vendor who brings up the funny name of their product rather than pointing us to its interesting features? This dealer’s behavior leads us to conclude that they are not confident about the system’s workings. Our assumption is further confirmed by their failure to highlight its basic features and trading strategy.
The owners of this system are also anonymous. Rather than providing us with unnecessary information, the vendor should have dedicated a small section on their website to telling us their background. At least we would have known the professionals on board, their names, qualifications, expertise, and experiences in matters Forex.
How to start trading with Tip Toe Hippo
Tip Toe Hippo comes in three packages. The first offer is a 1-month subscription plan that asks you to pay $50. The second one is a 3-month subscription package that costs $100. The last option can be acquired at $250 and this will allow you to use the bot for 12 consecutive months.
Tip Toe Hippo backtests
The vendor has attempted to show us the historical performance of their system. They say that they tested the system between 2012 and 2020. The devs highlight several points to describe the results. However, we did not take the data seriously since we noted that the developers give excuses for performances they think would not please potential traders. For example, although they state that their system has a historical drawdown of 7%, users are told to prepare for a 20% drawdown in the live market. They are also not confident about the profit potential of the system and suspect that it will experience periods of flat growth.
Unfortunately, we do not know how many trades were conducted, the win rates for short and long positions, and the profit factor.
This is a real USD account that was deployed on May 9, 2021 and deposited at $27,660. Till now, the absolute gain generated is 17.65%. This is after making a profit of $4,883.09. However, $54.04 has been withdrawn affecting the balance —$32,489.05. The drawdown rate is 5.87% and the monthly profit is 6.34%.
For the four months it has been working in the live market, the bot has made 133 trades. The lots (4,882.10) traded are large. This sheds light on the risky nature of the trading logic. The profit factor is 1.79. The system makes an average win of 117.69 pips against an average loss of -75.95 pips. The performance of long positions (56%) and short positions (23%) are very poor. The likelihood of incurring immense losses with this EA is very real.
When the system began trading, it made consistent profits between May and July. However, it made a loss of -1.88% in August. Even though the September is still young, the EA has already made a profit of 14.68%.
The chances of losing the account with this EA are low.

- Low drawdown
- Poor earnings
- Lack of vendor transparency
- The strategy used is undisclosed
- The features of the system are not described
It is funny that the vendor expects us to trust them when they have failed to be fully open with us. They do not tell us who they really are and how their product works to achieve profits and keep the drawdown low. The trading results have also revealed that the system generates small earnings and carries high levels of risks as it trades with large lots. To that end, we believe your investment is safer elsewhere, not here.
